Now the calendar turns to October with some interesting cards on the docket. First up is a showdown at 115 pounds when Mackenzie Dern takes on Yan Xiaonan on Oct. 1. Then, Another women’s fight gets the main event treatment on Oct. 15 when Alexa Grasso takes on Viviane Araujo. It all leads up to the massive PPV event in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22 when Islam Makhachev takes on Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 280.
