Baylor reveals uniforms for 2024 season, including new alternative jersey

The Baylor Bears revealed a revamp of their uniforms Thursday, including a brand-new anthracite look.

Baylor’s core uniform will have green, gold and white threads, with a combination of green, gold and white stripes on the pants and sleeves. The Bears have worn that color combination since their “Baylor United” rebrand in 2019, the school said in a news release.

Numbers on gold and white uniforms will be green, whereas the green uniforms will have white numbers. “Baylor” will be on the front of each helmet bumper but not across the chest.

Baylor’s coal-colored alternate uniform has multiple nods to past combinations.

A bear claw print on the sleeves refers to the Bears’ Big 12 championships teams in 2013-14. Baylor went 11-2 in both of those seasons, its most wins all-time in a two-season span.

“Baylor” runs across the chest in gold lettering, similar to the colors of the numbers. The helmet’s front bumper has a bear head. The pants also feature a black stripe, which differs from the usual stripes on Baylor’s core uniforms.

The Bears will kick off their 2024 season against the Tarleton State Texans on Aug. 31.
