The Dallas Mavericks are on the road again Sunday and play against the Milwaukee Bucks at 1 p.m. ET April 3 at Fiserv Forum. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.
Dallas was pulverized by the Washington Wizards 135-103 this past Friday. The Mavericks didn’t live up to their potential and found themselves falling short of the 7.5-point advantage oddsmakers thought they had coming into the game. Point guard Luka Doncic put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 36 points and six assists along with seven boards. Doncic’s afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 32 points.
Meanwhile,’s it’s hard to picture a worse loss than the 153-119 bruising that Milwaukee suffered against the Los Angeles Clippers this past Friday. Milwaukee was down 114-88 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Despite their defeat, they got to see several of their players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. center Bobby Portis, who had 25 points in addition to eight rebounds, was the best among equals.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. The teams are out to make things right after dropping matches they were expected to win, so stay tuned to see which team bounces back.
