Celtics vs. Hawks: How to watch NBA online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Who’s Playing

Atlanta @ Boston

Current Records: Atlanta 26-29; Boston 32-25

What to Know

After a two-game homestand, the Atlanta Hawks will be on the road. They will square off against the Boston Celtics at 2 p.m. ET Sunday at TD Garden. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, the Hawks nows face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.

This past Friday, Atlanta lost to the San Antonio Spurs at home by a decisive 136-121 margin. One thing holding Atlanta back was the mediocre play of small forward De’Andre Hunter, who did not have his best game: he finished with ten points on 5-for-11 shooting in his 26 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Boston beat the Denver Nuggets 108-102 this past Friday. Boston got their win on the backs of several key players, and it was small forward Jayson Tatum out in front picking up 24 points and five assists in addition to six rebounds.

Atlanta is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Houston Rockets Dec. 13 easily too and instead slipped up with a 132-126. In other words, don’t count the Celtics out just yet.
