What to Know

The Boston Celtics haven’t won a matchup against the Dallas Mavericks since Dec. 18 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Sunday. They will face off against one another at 3:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Boston didn’t have too much trouble with the Detroit Pistons at home this past Friday as they won 114-103. Meanwhile, Dallas strolled past the Houston Rockets with points to spare this past Friday, taking the game 113-100. The top scorer for the Mavericks was point guard Luka Doncic (30 points). The matchup made it Luka Doncic’s fourth in a row with at least 30 points.

Boston is the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Boston, who are 33-33-2 against the spread.
