Chiefs-Broncos Game in Denver Could Be Significantly Impacted by Snowstorm

Weather may impact Sunday’s AFC West showdown between Chiefs and Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.

The National Weather Service has announced a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Denver area until noon MT Sunday, forecasting potential snow accumulations between six and 14 inches.

The weather could impact two impressive streaks for Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes

The two-time Super Bowl MVP is 12-0 against the Broncos in his career, tying him with Hall of Famer Otto Graham for the most victories by a quarterback against an opponent without a loss.

Mahomes also will put his 16-0 road record against AFC West foes on the line. The two-time NFL MVP, who already owns the NFL record for most divisional road wins to start a career, is four road wins behind Hall of Famer Joe Montana for the all-time streak. The former 49ers great holds the record for the longest winning streak in divisional road games at 20.
