The Warriors took another overtime game down to the wire, but fall to the Portland Trail Blazers 129-124.

The Dubs took Monday’s game into overtime and started the extra frame strong on a 6-0 run, but the squad was unable to hold back the Trail Blazers’ three-point barrage in the 129-124 loss in Portland.
Alec Burks got started the extra five minutes of play with a two-point shot with the shot clock at five seconds, followed by an Eric Paschall fade-away bucket over Carmelo Anthony after backing the Blazer into the paint to send the Warriors up 117-113.
Burks then made big contributions on the next two plays as he stripped red-hot Trail Blazer guard Damian Lillard and forced the ball out-of-bounds off Lillard’s leg, then on the ensuing play found Warriors center Willie Cauley-Stein for an alley-oop to send the team up 119-113.
However, the Warriors were unable to stop Lillard as he led the Trail Blazers to victory with a 61-point performance on 11-of-20 made three-pointers.

Burks ended the night with 33 points (11-of-23 shooting), seven rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks for the Dubs in a start, taking the place of Draymond Green who sat with flu-like symptoms. D’Angelo Russell also had a stat sheet-filling night with 27 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.
Rookie Eric Paschall also finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds for his third career double-double, two of which have come against the Trail Blazers.
The Warriors return home on Wednesday for their fourth and final meeting of the season with the Utah Jazz (7 p.m., NBCSBA). The first 10,000 in attendance at Chase Center that night will receive a set of Warriors nesting dolls.
