2)      It’s going to be a late night for New Orleans basketball fans, but it should be a game worth staying up for, as the Pelicans (11-23) take a four-game winning streak into a 9:30 p.m. Central meeting with the Lakers at Staples Center. Pregame TV and radio coverage begins at 9. ESPN is broadcasting the game nationally. Check out the team’s injury report.

3)      Zion Williamson won’t play in games this weekend, but on Thursday he began practicing with the squad.
