Five things to know about the Pelicans on July 21, 2020

1)      We’re just nine days away from New Orleans (28-36) officially restarting its 2019-20 regular season, but less than 36 hours from the Pelicans finally competing against another NBA team. Wednesday’s scrimmage vs. Brooklyn is at 6 p.m. Central and will be streamed live on Pelicans.com, for fans who live within 75 miles of downtown New Orleans. For those outside the area, NBA TV is televising Pelicans-Nets. On radio, you can listen on ESPN 100.3 FM, with Daniel Sallerson hosting pregame coverage starting at 5:30. There will also be a postgame call-in show; dial (504) 593-4910 to discuss the Pelicans.
