Five things to know about the Pelicans on Nov. 4, 2019

1)      Week 3 of the NBA schedule for New Orleans consists of an unusual Monday-Friday-Saturday setup, with all three games coming against Eastern Conference opponents. The Pelicans (1-5) face a team off to an inconsistent start in Brooklyn (2-4), followed by a weekend back-to-back against teams off to an encouraging opens to the 2019-20 season (Toronto is 4-2, while Charlotte is 3-3). Of the three, only the Raptors game is at home in the Smoothie King Center.

2)      Monday’s game at Brooklyn tips off at 6:30, with pregame TV and radio coverage beginning at 6. The game also is being televised nationally on NBA TV. Brandon Ingram exited Saturday’s game after being struck in the head, but he did not even appear on Sunday’s injury report.

3)      New Orleans went 1-2 in Week 2, beating Denver but losing to Golden State and Oklahoma City.

4)      Pelicans TV analyst Antonio Daniels is the guest on Monday’s podcast.

5)      In case you missed it, New Orleans dropped a Saturday game in Oklahoma City by a 115-104 tally. Watch Josh Hart’s postgame reaction in the visiting locker room.
