FSU loses QB Travis (leg), rallies to beat Louisville

Florida State lost starting quarterback Jordan Travis for the second half of Friday’s game against host Louisville but rallied around backup Tate Rodemaker to win 35-31.

Travis, who led FSU to an upset win over LSU in Week 1, appeared to injure his right knee while trying to escape a sack in the second quarter. He was later seen on the sideline on crutches.

Travis opened the game completing his first 11 passes, two of which went for a touchdown. For the season, he’s 44-of-65 passing for 624 yards and four touchdowns.

Rodemaker, a third-year sophomore, went 6-of-10 for 109 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Noles’ to their third victory of the season.

Florida State also lost star pass-rusher Jared Verse to an apparent knee injury in the first half.
