What to Know
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be returning home after a two-game road trip. Georgia Tech and the Virginia Tech Hokies will face off in an ACC battle at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday at McCamish Pavilion. The Yellow Jackets have some work to do to even out the 2-6 series between these two since January of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
Georgia Tech was just a bucket shy of a victory on Monday and fell 74-73 to the Syracuse Orange. Georgia Tech’s loss came about despite a quality game from center Rodney Howard, who posted a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Virginia Tech came up short against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, falling 65-57. Guard Nahiem Alleyne had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only nine points on 4-for-13 shooting in his 27 minutes on the court.
Georgia Tech is expected to lose this next one by 6.5. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the team is 3-9-1 ATS when expected to lose.
