How to watch Baylor vs. West Virginia: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Monday’s NCAAB game

Who’s Playing

West Virginia @ Baylor

Current Records: West Virginia 13-7; Baylor 18-3

What to Know

The West Virginia Mountaineers are on the road again on Monday and play against the #8 Baylor Bears at 9 p.m. ET Jan. 31 at Ferrell Center. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

West Virginia came up short against the Arkansas Razorbacks this past Saturday, falling 77-68. Guard Sean McNeil had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 32 minutes but putting up just seven points on 3-for-11 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Bears came up short against the Alabama Crimson Tide this past Saturday, falling 87-78. Despite the loss, Baylor got a solid performance out of forward Jeremy Sochan, who had 17 points in addition to eight rebounds.

West Virginia have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 13 point spread they are up against. Now might not be the best time to take West Virginia against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past five consecutive games.

The losses put West Virginia at 13-7 and Baylor at 18-3. A pair of numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Mountaineers rank 27th in college basketball when it comes to takeaways, with 16.4 on average. But the Bears are even better: they come into the game boasting the 19th most takeaways per game in college basketball at 17.2. We’ll see if that edge gives Baylor a route to victory.
