How to watch Bucks vs. Wizards: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Thursday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

The Milwaukee Bucks were expected to win this one, and they are just one quarter away from fulfilling that expectation. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Washington Wizards as Milwaukee lead 92-66.

Point guard Jrue Holiday (19 points) has been the top scorer for the Bucks. One thing to keep an eye out for is Serge Ibaka’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Washington hasn’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 12 points or fewer.

The Wizards have lost 83% of their games in which they were down going into the fourth quarter. Barring a miraculous turnaround, this contest will end the same way.

Washington @ Milwaukee

Current Records: Washington 30-41; Milwaukee 45-27

What to Know

The Washington Wizards will take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. ET Thursday at Fiserv Forum after having had a few days off. Milwaukee will be strutting in after a win while the Wizards will be stumbling in from a loss.

The game between Washington and the Houston Rockets on Monday was not particularly close, with Washington falling 115-97. Washington was up 39-26 at the end of the first quarter but couldn’t hold on to the lead. Washington’s defeat came about despite a quality game from power forward Kristaps Porzingis, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards in addition to five blocks.

Meanwhile, you can’t lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Milwaukee’s strategy against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. The Bucks put the hurt on Chicago with a sharp 126-98 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Milwaukee had established a 91-69 advantage. The top scorers for Milwaukee were point guard Jrue Holiday (27 points) and power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (25 points). That makes it three consecutive games in which Giannis Antetokounmpo has had at least ten rebounds.

Washington is expected to lose this next one by 8.5. The smart bettors have been the ones to keep their money on Washington’s opponents whenever they hit the road.

Washington’s loss took them down to 30-41 while Milwaukee’s victory pulled them up to 45-27. On Tuesday Milwaukee relied heavily on Jrue Holiday, who had 27 points and seven assists. It will be up to Washington’s defense to limit his damage.
