How to watch Celtics vs. Pacers: NBA live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Through 3 Quarters

Both the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers have kept the scorekeepers busy with 187 between them three quarters in. a win is still up for grabs for either team, but Boston is up 96-91

The Celtics have enjoyed the tag-team combination of shooting guard Jaylen Brown and small forward Jayson Tatum. The former has 25 points and five assists, while the latter has 23 points and five assists along with six rebounds. A double-double would be Brown’s third in a row. One thing to keep an eye out for is Al Horford’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Indiana has been led by shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who so far has shot 6-for-6 from downtown and has recorded 30 points. Haliburton has picked up five fouls, though.

the Pacers have lost 86% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

Who’s Playing

Indiana @ Boston

Current Records: Indiana 25-52; Boston 47-30

What to Know

The Boston Celtics will take on the Indiana Pacers at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday at TD Garden. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Celtics came up short against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, falling 106-98. Point guard Marcus Smart wasn’t much of a difference maker for Boston; Smart picked up five fouls and turned the ball over six times en route to a 3-for-15, 10-point finish.

Meanwhile, Indiana came up short against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, falling 125-118. The Pacers’ loss shouldn’t obscure the performances of shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who posted a double-double on 15 points and 12 dimes in addition to five boards, and small forward Terry Taylor, who had 18 points along with nine rebounds. That’s the third consecutive matchup in which Haliburton has had at least 12 assists.

Boston is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Detroit Pistons Feb. 16 easily too and instead slipped up with a 112-111. In other words, don’t count Indiana out just yet.
