Meanwhile, Nevada narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Fresno State Bulldogs 77-73. Nevada’s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but guard Grant Sherfield led the charge as he had 17 points and seven assists along with five rebounds.
The Rams are the favorite in this one, with an expected 8.5-point margin of victory. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Colorado State, who are 8-7 against the spread.
