How to watch Hornets vs. Thunder: NBA live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Through 1 Quarter

The Charlotte Hornets were expected to win this one, and so far that’s exactly how it’s playing out. They are way out in front after one quarter with a 37-22 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nobody has stood out from the pack for the Hornets offensively yet.

Who’s Playing

Oklahoma City @ Charlotte

Current Records: Oklahoma City 14-30; Charlotte 25-20

What to Know

The Charlotte Hornets will be returning home after a two-game road trip. They will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 p.m. ET Friday at Spectrum Center. The Hornets are out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.

Charlotte was able to grind out a solid win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, winning 111-102. Among those leading the charge for Charlotte was shooting guard Terry Rozier, who shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc and finished with a double-double on 28 points and ten dimes.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City suffered a grim 118-96 defeat to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. OKC was down 106-78 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. The top scorer for Oklahoma City was small forward Aaron Wiggins (19 points).

Charlotte is the favorite in this one, with an expected 9-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

The Hornets’ victory brought them up to 25-20 while OKC’s defeat pulled them down to 14-30. A pair of offensive stats to keep an eye on: Charlotte enters the matchup with 114.4 points per game on average, good for second best in the league. Less enviably, the Thunder have only been able to knock down 41.70% percent of their shots, which is the lowest field goal percentage in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked against OKC.
