How to watch Magic vs. Pistons: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Thursday’s NBA game

Who’s Playing

Detroit @ Orlando

Current Records: Detroit 18-51; Orlando 18-52

What to Know

The Orlando Magic will play host again and welcome the Detroit Pistons to Amway Center, where tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

The night started off rough for Orlando on Tuesday, and it ended that way, too. They were completely outmatched by the Brooklyn Nets at home and fell 150-108. The Magic were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 86-56. Point guard Cole Anthony (19 points), power forward Wendell Carter Jr. (18 points), and center Moe Wagner (17 points) were the top scorers for Orlando.

Meanwhile, Detroit came up short against the Miami Heat on Tuesday, falling 105-98. The losing side was boosted by small forward Isaiah Livers, who had 16 points in addition to six rebounds.

Orlando is the favorite in this one, with an expected 3.5-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (4-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.

The losses put Orlando at 18-52 and the Pistons at 18-51. A pair of offensive stats to keep an eye on: The Magic have only been able to knock down 43.40% percent of their shots, which is the third lowest field goal percentage in the league. Detroits have had an even harder time: they have only been able to knock down 42.60% percent of their shots, which is the second lowest field goal percentage in the league. It could be a slow night.
