How to watch Magic vs. Pistons: NBA live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Through 2 Quarters

Fans are certainly getting their money’s worth as the Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic have combined for 135 points two quarters in. Detroit has taken charge with a 73-62 advantage over Orlando despite their earlier 2-point deficit.

Small forward Saddiq Bey has taken over for the Pistons, currently boasting 30 points (41% of their total) and three dimes in addition to three rebounds and two steals. One thing to keep an eye out for is Isaiah Livers’ foul situation as he currently sits at three.

This is the most points Detroit has had yet this season going into the third quarter.

What to Know

The Orlando Magic’s homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Detroit Pistons at 7 p.m. ET March 17 at Amway Center. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

The night started off rough for Orlando on Tuesday, and it ended that way, too. They were dealt a punishing 150-108 loss at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets. The Magic were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 86-56. The top scorers for Orlando were point guard Cole Anthony (19 points), power forward Wendell Carter Jr. (18 points), and center Moe Wagner (17 points).

Meanwhile, Detroit came up short against the Miami Heat on Tuesday, falling 105-98. A silver lining for Detroit was the play of small forward Isaiah Livers, who had 16 points in addition to six rebounds.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Orlando is expected to win a tight contest Thursday. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (4-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.

The Magic are now 18-52 while the Pistons sit at 18-51. A pair of offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Orlando has only been able to knock down 43.40% percent of their shots, which is the third lowest field goal percentage in the league. Detroits have had an even harder time: they have only been able to knock down 42.60% percent of their shots, which is the second lowest field goal percentage in the league. It could be a slow night.
