The San Antonio Spurs haven’t won a game against the Dallas Mavericks since April 11 of last year, but they’ll be looking to end the drought on Sunday. San Antonio might have tired legs after a contest yesterday as they head on the road against Dallas at 9:30 p.m. ET April 10 at American Airlines Center. The Mavericks should still be riding high after a win, while the Spurs will be looking to regain their footing.

San Antonio was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 100-94 to the Golden State Warriors. Center Jock Landale had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 27 minutes but putting up just six points on 1-for-10 shooting.

A well-balanced attack led Dallas over the Portland Trail Blazers every single quarter on their way to victory this past Friday. Dallas took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 128-78 victory over Portland. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 68-44. Point guard Luka Doncic continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, shooting 7-for-14 from beyond the arc and finishing with a double-double on 39 points and 11 boards along with seven dimes.

The Spurs have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 10.50 point spread they are up against. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a six-game streak of ATS wins.

San Antonio is now 34-47 while the Mavericks sit at 51-30. Dallas is 30-20 after wins this season, and San Antonio is 21-25 after losses.
