How to watch Nuggets vs. Rockets: NBA live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Denver Nuggets and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Houston Rockets 87-70.

Center DeMarcus Cousins has led the way so far for Denver, as he has 25 points in addition to eight rebounds. Boogie does need to be careful, however, as he is in foul trouble with four. Center JaMychal Green is also in foul trouble with four.

Houston has been led by center Christian Wood, who so far has 20 points along with seven boards.

the Rockets have lost 93% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this season, so this one seems just about wrapped up

Who’s Playing

Houston @ Denver

Current Records: Houston 15-47; Denver 36-26

What to Know

The Houston Rockets have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Denver Nuggets and are hoping to record their first win since Jan. 22 of 2020. They will face off against one another at 9 p.m. ET on Friday at Ball Arena. Houston is hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 117.98 points per contest.

The Rockets fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 132-127. Houston’s loss came about despite a quality game from center Christian Wood, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds along with five dimes.

Meanwhile, the game between Denver and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday was not a total blowout, but with Denver falling 119-107 at home, it was darn close to turning into one. This was hardly the result Denver or its fans were betting on, as they were favored by 15.5 points over Oklahoma City heading into this game. Despite the defeat, the Nuggets had strong showings from center Nikola Jokic, who posted a double-double on 22 points and 16 boards, and point guard Nah’Shon Hyland, who shot 5-for-6 from downtown and finished with 19 points. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Jokic has had at least ten rebounds.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
