How to watch Pacers vs. Hornets: NBA live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Through 3 Quarters

We’ve seen some fireworks three quarters in as the Charlotte Hornets and the Indiana Pacers have combined for 210 points. It’s looking more and more like Charlotte’s high-powered offense is just too much for Indiana as the Hornets lead 113-97.

Charlotte has been relying on shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr., who has shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and has recorded 24 points and four rebounds, and point guard LaMelo Ball, who has 20 points and nine assists in addition to eight boards. One thing Charlotte has working against them is foul trouble: Miles Bridges, P.J. Washington, and Mason Plumlee have all picked up some fouls.

The top scorer for Indiana has been center Goga Bitadze (17 points).

This is the most points Charlotte has had yet this year going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know

The Charlotte Hornets might have tired legs after a game yesterday as they head on the road against the Indiana Pacers at 7 p.m. ET Jan. 26 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Charlotte earned a 116-108 win in their most recent contest against Indiana in December.

The Hornets received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 125-113 to the Toronto Raptors. Charlotte was down 105-86 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. One thing holding Charlotte back was the mediocre play of shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr., who did not have his best game: he finished with only nine points on 3-for-11 shooting in his 26 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Indiana as they fell 117-113 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. The losing side was boosted by point guard Duane Washington Jr., who shot 7-for-12 from beyond the arc and finished with 21 points.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Hornets are expected to win a tight contest Wednesday. Now might not be the best time to take Charlotte against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week. If the Pacers want to win, they will need to focus on stopping Charlotte’s point guard LaMelo Ball, who had 25 points and seven assists, and power forward Miles Bridges, who had 22 points. We’ll see whether or not they are up to the challenge.
