How to watch San Jose State vs. New Mexico: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Sunday’s NCAAB game

Who’s Playing

New Mexico @ San Jose State

Current Records: New Mexico 11-15; San Jose State 7-19

What to Know

The New Mexico Lobos have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. New Mexico and the San Jose State Spartans will face off in a Mountain West battle at 4 p.m. ET Sunday at Provident Credit Union Event Center. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The Lobos received a tough blow this past Thursday as they fell 83-68 to the Colorado State Rams. Guard Jamal Mashburn Jr. (17 points) and forward Jay Allen-Tovar (17 points) were the top scorers for New Mexico.

Meanwhile, SJSU found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 90-60 punch to the gut against the Nevada Wolf Pack this past Thursday.

New Mexico is the favorite in this one, with an expected 6-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (5-2-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.

New Mexico is now 11-15 while the Spartans sit at 7-19. A couple defensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Lobos are 22nd worst in college basketball in points allowed per game, with 76 on average. SJSU has experienced some struggles of their own as they have allowed their opponents to shoot 47.10% from the floor on average, which is the fifth highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
