How to watch Spurs vs. Trail Blazers: TV channel, NBA live stream info, start time

Through 2 Quarters

The San Antonio Spurs were the heavy favorites here for a reason. They are way out in front at halftime with a 77-49 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Power forward Zach Collins has led the way so far for the Spurs, as he has ten points and five assists in addition to seven rebounds and two steals. One thing to keep an eye out for is Keldon Johnson’s foul situation as he currently sits at three.

Portland hasn’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to ten points or fewer.

San Antonio’s lead is tied with the biggest they have had this year going into the third quarter.

What to Know

The Portland Trail Blazers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 p.m. ET Friday at AT&T Center. Portland is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one.

The Trail Blazers came up short against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, falling 117-107. The losing side was boosted by center Drew Eubanks, who had 21 points along with nine boards.

Meanwhile, San Antonio was just a bucket shy of a win on Wednesday and fell 112-111 to the Memphis Grizzlies. Point guard Dejounte Murray put forth a good effort for the losing side as he shot 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and finished with a double-double on 33 points and 13 rebounds.

Portland is now 27-49 while San Antonio sits at 31-45. A couple stats to keep an eye on: Portland is fourth worst in the league in fouls per game, with 20.9 on average. To make matters even worse for the Trail Blazers, the Spurs rank second in the league when it comes to fouls per game, with only 18.1 on average. Keep an eye on whether or not foul trouble puts Portland in a difficult position.
