How to watch Texas Tech vs. Texas: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Monday’s NCAAB game

Who’s Playing

Texas @ Texas Tech

Current Records: Texas 20-5; Texas Tech 13-12

What to Know

The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the #5 Texas Longhorns will face off in a Big 12 clash at 9 p.m. ET Feb. 13 at United Supermarkets Arena. These two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Texas Tech was able to grind out a solid win over the Kansas State Wildcats this past Saturday, winning 71-63. The Red Raiders got double-digit scores from four players: guard De’Vion Harmon (20), guard Lamar Washington (13), guard Jaylon Tyson (11), and forward Kevin Obanor (10).

Meanwhile, the West Virginia Mountaineers typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday the Longhorns proved too difficult a challenge. Texas claimed a resounding 94-60 victory over West Virginia at home. Among those leading the charge for Texas was guard Sir’Jabari Rice, who had 24 points.

Texas Tech is expected to lose this next one by 4. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

The Red Raiders are now 13-12 while the Longhorns sit at 20-5. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Texas Tech is 42nd worst in college basketball in turnovers per game, with 14.2 on average. To make matters even worse for Texas Tech, Texas ranks 29th in college basketball when it comes to takeaways, with 16.1 on average. So the cards are definitely stacked in Texas’ favor.
