How to watch Wizards vs. Nuggets: TV channel, NBA live stream info, start time

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Denver Nuggets and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Washington Wizards 104-81.

Denver has been riding high on the performance of center Nikola Jokic, who has almost posted a triple-double on 29 points, 13 rebounds, and eight dimes. A double-double would be Jokic’s 23rd in a row.

Washington has been led by power forward Kristaps Porzingis, who so far has 16 points along with seven boards and three blocks.

Halftime deficits have spelled doom for the Wizards, who haves lost 85% of the games in which they were down going into the the fourth quarter.

Who’s Playing

Denver @ Washington

Current Records: Denver 41-28; Washington 29-38

What to Know

The Washington Wizards will be returning home after a four-game road trip. They will take on the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Capital One Arena. Denver should still be riding high after a win, while the Wizards will be looking to get back in the win column.

Washington received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 126-112 to the Golden State Warriors. Power forward Kristaps Porzingis put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 25 points along with eight boards.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 114-110 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The victory came about thanks to a strong surge after the first quarter to overcome a 37-22 deficit. It was another big night for Denver’s center Nikola Jokic, who almost dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 13 rebounds, and eight dimes. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which Jokic has had at least ten rebounds.

Washington is expected to lose this next one by 6.5. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the team has let down bettors in their past four games.

Washington is now 29-38 while the Nuggets sit at 41-28. Denver is 24-16 after wins this year, and the Wizards are 17-20 after losses.
