How to watch Wizards vs. Pistons: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Monday’s NBA game

Who’s Playing

Detroit @ Washington

Current Records: Detroit 12-44; Washington 25-30

What to Know

The Detroit Pistons have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. ET Monday at Capital One Arena after having had a few days off. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Detroit suffered a grim 141-119 defeat to the Charlotte Hornets this past Friday. The Pistons were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 79-55. Small forward Saddiq Bey put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 25 points.

Meanwhile, Washington received a tough blow this past Saturday as they fell 123-110 to the Sacramento Kings. Despite the defeat, the Wizards got a solid performance out of power forward Kyle Kuzma, who had 22 points and seven assists along with eight rebounds.

Detroit is expected to lose this next one by 4. Now might not be the best time to take Detroit against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past four consecutive games.

Detroit is now 12-44 while Washington sits at 25-30. A pair of numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Pistons are worst in the league in fouls per game, with 21.7 on average. To make matters even worse for Detroit, the Wizards rank third in the league when it comes to fouls drawn per game, with 20.3 on average. So the cards are definitely stacked in Washington’s favor.
