Madrid security charged with assault at UCL final

A member of Real Madrid’s security staff has been charged with common assault following an incident at Saturday’s Champions League final.

Maria Hernandez, 52, is alleged to have assaulted a member of Wembley’s stewarding staff in the aftermath of Madrid’s win, according to London’s Metropolitan Police.

The police also confirmed that Hernandez is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ court on June 18 to face the charge.
