Magic vs. Celtics: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 3 Quarters

The Boston Celtics are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they’ve been expecting. It’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Orlando Magic as Boston lead 83-63.

The Celtics have been relying on power forward Al Horford, who has dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards in addition to five assists, and shooting guard Jaylen Brown, who has 21 points along with five rebounds. This makes it three consecutive games in which Horford has had at least ten rebounds. One thing to keep an eye out for is Robert Williams III’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Shooting guard Jalen Suggs (15 points) has been the top scorer for Orlando.

What to Know

The Orlando Magic haven’t won a matchup against the Boston Celtics since April 7 of 2019, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Sunday. The Magic are getting right back to it as they host Boston at 6 p.m. ET Feb. 6 at Amway Center. The Celtics will be strutting in after a win while Orlando will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Orlando suffered a grim 135-115 defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies this past Saturday. Orlando was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 76-56. A silver lining for them was the play of point guard Cole Anthony, who had 22 points and five assists along with six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Boston was able to grind out a solid victory over the Detroit Pistons this past Friday, winning 102-93. The top scorer for the Celtics was small forward Jayson Tatum (24 points).

The Magic are expected to lose this next one by 9.5. Their home court has been no bettor’s paradise, as they’ve failed to beat the spread in 17 of their 24 home games.

Orlando is now 12-42 while Boston sits at 29-25. A pair of numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Orlando has only been able to knock down 43.30% percent of their shots, which is the third lowest field goal percentage in the league. Boston’s defense has more to brag about, as they they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 43.40%, which places them second in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
