NBA DFS: Alec Burks and top FanDuel, DraftKings daily Fantasy basketball picks for Nov. 17

Finding the right matchup to exploit in NBA DFS tournaments can be the difference between winning big or going home with nothing. And Sunday’s main NBA DFS slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, which features four games and tips off at 6 p.m. ET, is offering contests with big-time prizes like the $175K Excellent 8’s on DraftKings and the $200K Sunday NBA Shot on FanDuel. Whether it’s a forward who has a favorable matchup against a porous defense, or a center who’s capable of putting up a monster stat line, finding the right NBA DFS value picks is key. But before you lock in your NBA DFS lineups, you’ll want to see the top NBA DFS picks and lineups from Mike McClure. He’s a professional DFS player who has won almost $2 million in his career.

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

McClure rolled through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple lineups that led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings. Now, he’s off to a blistering start to the 2019-20 NBA season, cashing on both sites on Tuesday’s Opening Night 2019 and then following that up with returns as high as 20x on DraftKings the next night. Overall, his lineups have cashed a whopping 80 percent of the time so far on DraftKings and 60 percent on FanDuel. Anybody following him has seen huge returns. Now he’s turned his attention to Sunday’s NBA DFS slate.

For Sunday, we can tell you McClure is high on James ($11,800 on FanDuel, $10,700 on DraftKings). King James has been stellar all season, and was again on Friday against the Kings, pumping in 29 points and dealing 11 assists in the Lakers‘ third straight victory. Los Angeles has the best record in the Western Conference due to James’ unselfishness, as he leads the league with 11.1 assists per game and four straight games with double-digit dimes. At 24.3 points per game, James is putting the ball in the basket at his usual brisk pace. Sunday’s opponent, the visiting 4-8 Atlanta Hawks, rank 22nd in the NBA defending James’ position.

Part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy also includes rostering Warriors guard Alec Burks ($4,500 on FanDuel, $4,900 on DraftKings). Burks is averaging 14.2 points per game for the Warriors, who have been riddled with injuries throughout the season. Burks recorded 20 points and three rebounds in 30 minutes against the Celtics on Friday night – his sixth double-digit scoring output in the last seven games. Burks has also scored 25 or more points on DraftKings in four of his last six games, and he has a great chance to produce big numbers again on Sunday against a Pelicans team that is giving up 121.7 points per game this season, the worst mark in the NBA. He’s a complete steal at this price point, so lock him in for Sunday’s slate.

McClure is also targeting another player who has a dream matchup on Sunday. The stars are aligning for him to return 50, even 60 points on DraftKings and FanDuel. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
