Nets vs. Wizards: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 1 Quarter

The experts predicted a victory for the Brooklyn Nets, but it’s no sure thing at this point. After one quarter neither squad has the game in the bag, but Brooklyn leads 28-26 over the Washington Wizards.

The Nets haven’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to six points or fewer. Washington is in a similar position to Brooklyn as their squad has been held to no more than six points.

Who’s Playing

Washington @ Brooklyn

Current Records: Washington 26-31; Brooklyn 31-27

What to Know

The Brooklyn Nets and the Washington Wizards will face off at 7:30 p.m. ET Feb. 17 at Barclays Center without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The Nets will be strutting in after a win while Washington will be stumbling in from a loss.

Even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Brooklyn beat the New York Knicks 111-106 on Wednesday. Brooklyn was down 65-44 at the end of the half, but the squad rallied to mount a spectacular comeback. The top scorers for Brooklyn were shooting guard Cameron Thomas (21 points) and shooting guard Seth Curry (20 points).

Meanwhile, Washington was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 113-108 to the Indiana Pacers. Small forward Corey Kispert had a pretty forgettable game, picking up four fouls and turning the ball over five times en route to a 9-point finish.

The Nets are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4.5-point margin of victory. At 7-20 against the spread at home, they are no cash cow. That said, the Wizards aren’t so hot on the road, where they are 8-19.

In the teams’ previous meeting earlier this month, Brooklyn and Washington were neck-and-neck, but Brooklyn came up empty-handed after a 113-112 defeat. Maybe Brooklyn will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the game and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
