Pelicans vs. Raptors: How to watch live stream, TV channel, NBA start time

Through 3 Quarters

The experts predicted a defeat for the New Orleans Pelicans, but with just one quarter left to go, they seem like they might make the experts look bad. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Toronto Raptors as New Orleans lead 94-69.

The Pelicans have been riding high on the performance of shooting guard CJ McCollum, who has 20 points. Toronto has been led by point guard Fred VanVleet, who so far has 20 points along with five boards.

New Orleans’ lead is the biggest they have had this year going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know

The New Orleans Pelicans are 3-10 against the Toronto Raptors since November of 2015, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. New Orleans will stay at home another game and welcome Toronto at 8 p.m. ET Feb. 14 at Smoothie King Center.

The Pelicans came up short against the San Antonio Spurs this past Saturday, falling 124-114. Despite the loss, New Orleans got a solid performance out of shooting guard CJ McCollum, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 11 rebounds along with five dimes.

Meanwhile, Toronto was just a bucket shy of a win this past Saturday and fell 110-109 to the Denver Nuggets. Toronto’s defeat came about despite a quality game from power forward Pascal Siakam, who posted a double-double on 35 points and ten boards in addition to seven assists.

New Orleans is expected to lose this next one by 3.5. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. The teams are out to make things right after dropping matches they were expected to win, so stay tuned to see which squad bounces back.
