Play resumes on outside courts after two-hour, 20-minute interruption

Play has resumed on outside courts at Wimbledon on Saturday after rain in London once again interrupted the action at the grass-court major. Matches resumed after an approximately two-hour, 20-minute delay at the All England Club after play was initially halted at 12:36 p.m. due to showers.

Czech Jiri Lehecka led American Tommy Paul 6-2, 7-6(2), 1-1 in their third-round clash on Court 12 before play was suspended, with Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune and Frances Tiafoe among the players scheduled to be in action on the outside courts later on Saturday.

Play has started on time on Centre Court and Court 1 due to the retractable roofs. Carlos Alcaraz is facing Nicolas Jarry on Centre Court, while Daniil Medvedev is in action against Marton Fucsovics on Court 1.
