Rockets vs. Grizzlies: How to watch NBA online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Through 1 Quarter

The Memphis Grizzlies are ahead after one, as expected, but they’ll have to keep working the rest of the way. They have jumped out to a quick 34-27 lead against the Houston Rockets.

Center Steven Adams has led the way so far for Memphis, as he has 11 points and three assists in addition to five rebounds. Center Christian Wood has done his best for Houston, currently boasting 13 points (48% of their total). A double-double would be Wood’s third in a row.

What to Know

The Memphis Grizzlies might have tired legs after a game yesterday as they head on the road against the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. ET March 6 at Toyota Center. The Grizz won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 10.5-point advantage in the spread.

The Grizzlies entered their matchup this past Saturday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to the hype. They made easy work of the Orlando Magic and carried off a 124-96 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 68-45. Shooting guard Desmond Bane and point guard Ja Morant were among the main playmakers for Memphis as the former had 24 points in addition to six boards and the latter had 25 points and seven assists.

Meanwhile, Houston received a tough blow this past Friday as they fell 116-101 to the Denver Nuggets. One thing holding Houston back was the mediocre play of point guard Kevin Porter, who did not have his best game: he finished with only nine points on 3-for-12 shooting in his 31 minutes on the court.

This next contest looks promising for Memphis, who are favored by a full 10.5 points. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (27-13), so they might be worth a quick bet.

Memphis’ win lifted them to 44-21 while Houston’s loss dropped them down to an irreparable 15-48. Allowing an average of 117.95 points per game, Houston hasn’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming game.
