The Slovakian has jumped into the Top 40 for the first time after he advanced to his third ATP Tour championship match at the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Lyon. Following a run to his first semi-final of the season in Geneva, the 35-year-old has risen five spots. The Frenchman shocked World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev in the second round and also earned straight-set wins over John Millman and Kamil Majchrzak.
