South Florida vs. Memphis: How to watch NCAAB online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Who’s Playing

Memphis @ South Florida

Current Records: Memphis 17-9; South Florida 8-20

What to Know

The South Florida Bulls lost both of their matches to the Memphis Tigers last season on scores of 57-58 and 52-73, so they’re hoping to turn the tables this season. South Florida and Memphis will face off in an American Athletic battle at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday at Yuengling Center. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

On Saturday, the Bulls narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cincinnati Bearcats 56-54. Center Russel Tchewa (13 points) was the top scorer for South Florida.

Meanwhile, Memphis made easy work of the Wichita State Shockers on Sunday and carried off an 81-57 win. Four players on Memphis scored in the double digits: guard Landers Nolley II (22), center Jalen Duren (13), guard Lester Quinones (12), and forward DeAndre Williams (12). Jalen Duren has also now had at least three blocks in his past three games.

The Bulls have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 13 point spread they are up against. At 5-10 against the spread at home, they are no cash cow. That said, the Tigers aren’t so hot on the road, where they are 3-7.

The wins brought South Florida up to 8-20 and Memphis to 17-9. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: South Florida has only been able to knock down 37.70% percent of their shots, which is the 358th lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. Memphis’ defense has more to brag about, as they they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 39.20%, which places them 18th in college basketball. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
