The Southern Illinois Salukis have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Missouri State Bears and are hoping to record their first win since Feb. 8 of 2020. SIU will play host again and welcome MSU to Banterra Center, where tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The neutral point spread forecasts a close one for these two.
The Salukis took their game against the Valparaiso Beacons on Sunday by a conclusive 77-55 score. SIU can attribute much of their success to guard Lance Jones, who shot 5-for-6 from beyond the arc and finished with 22 points and seven assists.
