Timberwolves vs. Nuggets live stream info, TV channel: How to watch NBA on TV, stream online

Through 3 Quarters

A victory for the Minnesota Timberwolves would push them over .500, and after three quarters they have put themselves in a good position to make this happen. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Denver Nuggets 100-78.

Power forward Taurean Prince (20 points) and power forward Jarred Vanderbilt (18 points) have been the top scorers for Minnesota. One thing to keep an eye out for is Karl-Anthony Towns’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Denver has been relying on the performance of center Nikola Jokic, who has almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 16 boards, and eight assists. A double-double would be Jokic’s fifth in a row.

The Nuggets have been used to carrying a lead into the fourth quarter lately, so we’ll see how they respond to the deficit.

What to Know

The Denver Nuggets’ road trip will continue as they head to Target Center at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday to face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.

You’re bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that’s exactly how it played out for Denver on Sunday. They claimed a resounding 136-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Nuggets had established a 103-81 advantage. Their center Nikola Jokic did his thing and almost posted a triple-double on 18 points, 15 assists, and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday was close at halftime, but Minnesota turned on the heat in the second half with 74 points. Minnesota put the hurt on Utah with a sharp 126-106 victory. The oddsmakers were on the Timberwolves’ side, but they didn’t give the team enough credit as the margin was unexpectedly wide. Center Karl-Anthony Towns continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 31 points, 11 boards, and ten dimes. That’s Towns’ first triple-double of the season.

Their wins bumped the Nuggets to 28-21 and Minnesota to 25-25. Both Denver and Minnesota have easy wins in recent memory. We’ll see which one’s ego takes a hit when they face off.
