The Jets had their three-game winning streak come to a brutal end Monday night when they lost at home to the Chargers, 27-6, in front of a national television audience that was pretty bored for most of the evening.
It was an ugly night for Zach Wilson and the Jets’ offense, which didn’t score a touchdown and didn’t score any points after halftime. Wilson was also sacked eight times.
ESPN’s Troy Aikman was not impressed with the Jets and wasn’t afraid to tell everyone exactly what he thought of their offense. He lit into them during the final drive, saying it was “pretty maddening” that they couldn’t get a touchdown.
Here’s more from Aikman:
"For as good as this group is, for them not to get a chance to do some really special things with this team because an offense can't score a touchdown? Pretty maddening."

He had even more to say in the postgame show:
"I mean, it's hard to look at [the Jets] tonight and say that they're good… I think they're a bad team with a great defense… I didn't see anything tonight that suggests they're a playoff team."- Troy Aikman #MNF pic.twitter.com/Bzz0Rk2VMm

The Jets, who are now 4-4, travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders in Week 10.
