Get ready for an ACC battle as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Boston College Eagles will face off at 6 p.m. ET on Monday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.
Wake Forest made easy work of the North Carolina Tar Heels this past Saturday and carried off a 98-76 win. The oddsmakers were on the Demon Deacons’ side, but they didn’t give the squad enough credit as the margin was unexpectedly wide. Their forward Jake LaRavia did his thing and posted a double-double on 31 points and ten boards.
Meanwhile, the Virginia Tech Hokies typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday BC proved too difficult a challenge. BC secured a 68-63 W over Virginia Tech. BC’s forward James Karnik looked sharp as he had 26 points in addition to nine rebounds.
The Demon Deacons are now 16-4 while the Eagles sit at 8-9. Wake Forest is 12-3 after wins this year, BC 4-3.
