Who’s Playing

Chicago @ Milwaukee

Current Records: Chicago 42-29; Milwaukee 44-27

What to Know

After four games on the road, the Milwaukee Bucks are heading back home. They will take on the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at Fiserv Forum after having had a few days off. Milwaukee has the odds in their favor, so they’ll need to guard against complacency.

The matchup between the Bucks and the Minnesota Timberwolves this past Saturday was not a total blowout, but with Milwaukee falling 138-119 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. Milwaukee was down 106-82 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. One thing holding Milwaukee back was the mediocre play of center Bobby Portis, who did not have his best game: he played for 25 minutes but put up just four points on 2-for-10 shooting.

Meanwhile, Chicago had enough points to win and then some against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, taking their contest 113-99. The Bulls can attribute much of their success to shooting guard Zach LaVine, who had 26 points and six assists in addition to six boards, and small forward DeMar DeRozan, who had 26 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

The Bucks are now 44-27 while Chicago sits at 42-29. A pair of offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Milwaukee comes into the game boasting the third most points per game in the league at 114.9. Chicago has displayed some offensive firepower of their own as they rank second in the league when it comes to field goal percentage, with 48.10% on the season.
