Through 3 Quarters

The Chicago Bulls are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they’ve been expecting. a victory is still up for grabs for either team, but they are up 92-88 over the Sacramento Kings

Chicago has been relying on small forward DeMar DeRozan, who has 26 points in addition to four rebounds, and point guard Coby White, who has 18 points and six assists. Sacramento has been led by point guard De’Aaron Fox, who so far has 25 points and six assists along with five boards.

The Kings haven’t lost 86% of the games in which they were down heading into the final period this season, so a win here would be refreshing.

Who’s Playing

Sacramento @ Chicago

Current Records: Sacramento 22-37; Chicago 37-21

What to Know

The Sacramento Kings and the Chicago Bulls are even-steven against one another since February of 2016 (6-6), but not for long. Sacramento is on the road again on Wednesday and plays against the Bulls at 8 p.m. ET Feb. 16 at United Center. Chicago will be strutting in after a win while the Kings will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Sacramento has to be hurting after a devastating 109-85 loss at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. It was supposed to be a close contest, and Sacramento was supposed to come out on top, but neither of those things ended up happening. One thing holding Sacramento back was the mediocre play of small forward Justin Holiday, who did not have his best game: he played for 31 minutes but put up just seven points on 3-for-12 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Bulls strolled past the San Antonio Spurs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 120-109. Small forward DeMar DeRozan gave his former team something to remember him by as he had 40 points and seven assists for Chicago. The matchup made it Deebo’s seventh in a row with at least 31 points.

The Kings are now 22-37 while Chicago sits at 37-21. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Sacramento has allowed their opponents to shoot 47.50% from the floor on average, which is the third highest shooting percentage allowed in the league. The Bulls’ offense has more to brag about, as they they come into the contest boasting the highest field goal percentage in the league at 48.30%. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
