Watch Magic vs. Cavaliers: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Tuesday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Down two at the end of last quarter, the Orlando Magic have now snagged the lead. After three quarters neither squad has the contest in the bag, but Orlando leads 91-86 over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Magic have been riding high on the performance of center Mo Bamba, who has shot 5-for-9 from downtown and has posted a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards in addition to three blocks. This makes it three consecutive games in which Bamba has had at least ten rebounds.

Cleveland has been led by small forward Lauri Markkanen, who so far has shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and has recorded 22 points.

This is the first time Orlando has been ahead going into the fourth quarter in the past five games.

What to Know

The Orlando Magic’s homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET April 5 at Amway Center. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

Orlando suffered a grim 118-88 defeat to the New York Knicks on Sunday. The Magic were down 94-62 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Point guard R.J. Hampton had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only seven points on 2-for-11 shooting and turning the ball over four times in his 27 minutes on the court.

Cleveland lost a heartbreaker to the Philadelphia 76ers when they met in March, and they left with a heavy heart again on Sunday. Cleveland fell in a 112-108 heartbreaker. Cleveland’s loss came about despite a quality game from point guard Darius Garland, who had 23 points.

Orlando is now 20-59 while Cleveland sits at 43-36. The Magic have been eliminated from playoff contention. The Cavaliers are still in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs, so these next three games are critical for them.

Orlando is expected to lose this next one by 8. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past three games, so buyers beware.

A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Magic are worst in the league in points per game, with only 103.8 on average. The Cavaliers’ defense has more to brag about, as they they rank third in the league when it comes to points allowed per game, with only 105.2 on average. Orlando might struggle to break 100.
