Watch North Carolina vs. Virginia Tech: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Monday’s NCAAB game

Who’s Playing

Virginia Tech @ North Carolina

Current Records: Virginia Tech 10-8; North Carolina 12-6

What to Know

After two games on the road, the North Carolina Tar Heels are heading back home. The Tar Heels and the Virginia Tech Hokies will face off in an ACC battle at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Dean E. Smith Center. UNC is out to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.

UNC has to be hurting after a devastating 98-76 defeat at the hands of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this past Saturday. Guard Caleb Love had a rough night: he finished with only nine points on 3-for-15 shooting and turned the ball over four times in his 30 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, Virginia Tech was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 68-63 to the Boston College Eagles. A silver lining for Virginia Tech was the play of forward Keve Aluma, who had 21 points in addition to eight rebounds.

UNC is the favorite in this one, with an expected 5-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take the Tar Heels against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

UNC beat the Hokies 81-73 when the two teams previously met in March of last year. UNC’s victory shoved Virginia Tech out of the playoffs, so they have a target on their back.
