Watch Wizards vs. Knicks: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Friday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the New York Knicks and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Washington Wizards 94-72.

Power forward Obi Toppin has led the way so far for New York, as he has shot 5-for-7 from downtown and has recorded 26 points. One thing to keep an eye out for is Jericho Sims’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Washington has been relying on the performance of power forward Rui Hachimura, who has 18 points.

The Wizards have lost 85% of their games in which they were down going into the fourth quarter. Barring a miraculous turnaround, this game will end the same way.

Who’s Playing

New York @ Washington

Current Records: New York 35-45; Washington 35-45

What to Know

The New York Knicks will take on the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. ET Friday at Capital One Arena. The Knicks won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 3.5-point advantage in the spread.

The game between New York and the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday was not particularly close, with New York falling 110-98. New York was up 67-50 at the end of the half but couldn’t hold on to the lead. A silver lining for them was the play of power forward Obi Toppin, who had 19 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Washington received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 118-103 to the Atlanta Hawks. Power forward Rui Hachimura had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 31 minutes but putting up just nine points on 4-for-12 shooting.

The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 35-45. Neither team can make the playoffs, so they’re playing for draft order now. New York is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder Feb. 14 easily too and instead slipped up with a 127-123. In other words, don’t count the Wizards out just yet.
