Watch Wizards vs. Spurs: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Friday’s NBA game

Through 5 Quarters

The Washington Wizards and the San Antonio Spurs are all tied up at 147. Washington has been riding high on the performance of power forward Kyle Kuzma, who has 36 points and seven assists along with eight rebounds.

The Wizards have been led by Kuzma, who so far has 36 points and seven assists in addition to eight boards. Kuzma’s performance is making up for a slower matchup against the Brooklyn Nets last week.

Washington and San Antonio came into this game with previous-game wins. It’s unclear which team will be able to keep the momentum.

Who’s Playing

San Antonio @ Washington

Current Records: San Antonio 23-36; Washington 27-31

What to Know

The Washington Wizards are 3-10 against the San Antonio Spurs since November of 2015, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Friday. After a few days’ rest for both teams, they will meet up at 7 p.m. ET Feb. 25 at Capital One Arena. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

The Wizards strolled past the Brooklyn Nets with points to spare last Thursday, taking the matchup 117-103. The top scorer for Washington was power forward Rui Hachimura (20 points).

Meanwhile, San Antonio beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-106 last week. The team ran away with 73 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. Among those leading the charge for the Spurs was center Jakob Poeltl, who posted a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds along with five assists.

The Wizards are expected to lose this next one by 3.5. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the squad is 7-14 ATS when expected to lose.

Washington is now 27-31 while San Antonio sits at 23-36. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Washington enters the contest with 20.2 fouls drawn per game on average, good for fourth best in the league. But the Spurs come into the game boasting the second fewest fouls per game in the league at 17.8. The ref’s whistle might dictate the flow of action in this one.
