Wizards vs. Nets: How to watch online, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 3 Quarters

Down four at the end of last quarter, the Washington Wizards have now snagged the lead. They have emerged as the frontrunner after three quarters and are ahead of the Brooklyn Nets 86-78.

Point guard Raul Neto (15 points) and power forward Kyle Kuzma (15 points) have been the top scorers for the Wizards. Brooklyn has enjoyed the tag-team combination of shooting guard Cameron Thomas and point guard Kyrie Irving. The former has 18 points, while the latter has 17 points and five assists.

Brooklyn has lost 77% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

Who’s Playing

Brooklyn @ Washington

Current Records: Brooklyn 29-25; Washington 24-29

What to Know

The Washington Wizards haven’t won a game against the Brooklyn Nets since Jan. 31 of last year, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Thursday. The Wizards will take on Brooklyn at 7:30 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena after having had a few days off. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.

Things couldn’t have gone much worse for Washington as they lost 121-100 to the Miami Heat on Monday. Washington was down 91-70 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. A silver lining for them was the play of small forward Corey Kispert, who had 20 points along with six boards. Kispert’s performance made up for a slower matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the night started off rough for Brooklyn on Tuesday, and it ended that way, too. They were pulverized by the Boston Celtics 126-91. Brooklyn was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 69-43. Point guard Jevon Carter (21 points) was the top scorer for the Nets.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Wizards are expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 7-16 against the spread when favored.

Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
