Celtics vs. Kings: How to watch live stream, TV channel, NBA start time

Through 3 Quarters

The Boston Celtics are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they’ve been expecting. It’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Sacramento Kings as Boston lead 97-55.

Small forward Jayson Tatum has led the way so far for the Celtics, as he has shot 7-for-14 from beyond the arc and has recorded 36 points, six dimes and four rebounds. A double-double would be Tatum’s third in a row.

Sacramento hasn’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 11 points or fewer.

Boston’s lead is the biggest they have had this season going into the fourth quarter.

Who’s Playing

Sacramento @ Boston

Current Records: Sacramento 18-30; Boston 24-24

What to Know

The Sacramento Kings will take on the Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday at TD Garden after having had a few days off. Boston will be strutting in after a win while the Kings will be stumbling in from a loss.

Sacramento was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 133-127 to the Milwaukee Bucks. Sacramento’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of power forward Harrison Barnes, who had 29 points in addition to six boards, and shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and finished with a double-double on 24 points and 12 dimes along with six rebounds. That’s the third consecutive contest in which Haliburton has had at least ten assists.

A well-balanced attack led Boston over the Washington Wizards every single quarter on their way to victory on Sunday. Boston blew past Washington 116-87. The oddsmakers were on the Celtics’ side, but they didn’t give the squad enough credit as the margin was unexpectedly wide. Small forward Jayson Tatum took over for Boston, finishing with 51 points (a whopping 44% of their total) and seven assists along with ten boards.

Sacramento’s defeat took them down to 18-30 while Boston’s victory pulled them up to 24-24. On Sunday Boston relied heavily on Tatum, who shot 9-for-14 from beyond the arc and finished with a double-double on 51 points and ten boards in addition to seven dimes. It will be up to Sacramento’s defense to limit his damage.
