Watch Kings vs. Celtics: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Friday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Boston Celtics and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Sacramento Kings 92-79.

Small forward Jayson Tatum has led the way so far for the Celtics, as he has shot 7-for-9 from downtown and has recorded 28 points and four dimes. A double-double would be Tatum’s third in a row. One thing to keep an eye out for is Grant Williams’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Sacramento has been relying on the performance of power forward Domantas Sabonis, who has posted a double-double on 24 points and 16 boards along with five assists.

Sacramento has lost 89% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The Sacramento Kings have quite the challenge ahead of them as they’re expected to be blown off the court. They have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Boston Celtics at 10 p.m. ET March 18 at Golden 1 Center. The Kings need to shore up a defense that is allowing 115.56 points per game.

Sacramento came up short against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, falling 135-126. Power forward Domantas Sabonis put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 22 points and seven assists in addition to five boards.

Meanwhile, everything went Boston’s way against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday as they made off with a 110-88 win. Boston’s point guard Marcus Smart was one of the most active players for the team, picking up 20 points and eight assists.

The Kings were pulverized by the Celtics 128-75 in the teams’ previous meeting in January. Maybe Sacramento will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the contest and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
