How to watch Heat vs. Knicks: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Wednesday’s NBA game

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Miami Heat and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the New York Knicks 92-67.

Small forward Jimmy Butler has led the way so far for Miami, as he has 22 points and five assists in addition to six rebounds. Jimmy G Buckets does need to be careful, however, as he is in foul trouble with four. Shooting guard Duncan Robinson is also in foul trouble with four.

New York has been relying on small forward R.J. Barrett, who has 17 points, and point guard Immanuel Quickley, who has ten points.

If the game were over at this point, it would be the Knicks’ worst margin of defeat yet this year.

What to Know

The New York Knicks haven’t won a matchup against the Miami Heat since Jan. 12 of 2020, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Wednesday. The Knicks will hit the road for the second straight game as they head to FTX Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. Miami will be strutting in after a victory while New York will be stumbling in from a defeat.

It was all tied up 50-50 at halftime, but New York was not quite the Cleveland Cavaliers’ equal in the second half when they met on Monday. It was close but no cigar for New York as they fell 95-93 to Cleveland. Point guard Immanuel Quickley wasn’t much of a difference maker for New York; Quickley finished with only three points on 1-for-10 shooting in his 25 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, the Heat didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, but they still walked away with a 113-107 win. It was another big night for Miami’s small forward Jimmy Butler, who posted a triple-double on 20 points, 12 dimes, and ten boards. Jimmy G Buckets now has three triple-doubles this season.

New York is expected to lose this next one by 5.5. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a two-game streak of ATS wins.

New York is now 23-25 while Miami sits at 30-17. Two numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Knicks are fourth worst in the league in points per game, with only 103.9 on average. The Heat’s defense has more to brag about, as they they rank fourth in the league when it comes to points allowed per game, with only 104.1 on average. New York might struggle to break 100.
